  I cannot believe this thing!!!!!!!!!

The new Apple HD Cinema Display is 30 across diagonally. Wow!!! I am dying to see one in person. That is one huge screen!!

  Changes ahead
It probably won't be a radical change in design, but I will soon be adding a portfolio section and an about page to my website! I know I've been saying I was going to do that for months now, but this time it is really going to happen. Look for it in the next couple of weeks.

  Cutie Pie!
Let me just tell you how incredibly cute my nephew is! My sister's family just got back from Disneyworld Sunday and I went over to see them last night. They went with my dad's cousin's stepdaughter's family (is that confusing enough for ya?). Anyway, Ethan was so excited about the trip. His favorite was Peter Pan and Becca and Jake had bought him two plastic swords and a Peter Pan hat with his name on it, a hook and a captain hook hat. When I got to their house yesterday, my mom had the captain hook hat on and the hook and a sword and Ethan had his sword and his Peter Pan hat on. They were sword-fighting. Anyway, Ethan said "Peter Pan ride cool!" and "Buzz er-er (Buzz Lightyear) ride cool. Mama shoot robots, like this (and he acted like he was using one of the guns they had in the ride)." He also acted like a robot by moving his arms up and down like a robot. Anyway, it was fun seeing him. I'm going to post some of their pictures sometime this week probably. By the way, the Snow White ride was too scary for all three of the kids!

  Somewhere Over the Rainbow
The other night I watched the American Film Institute's top 100 movie songs with my parents. I thought it was a very good list of songs, but it got me thinking about some other songs that didn't make the cut. Some of these songs probably should have been considered, but most of them are not neccessarily even that good, but they just kind of stand out from some of the movies I grew up with. Anyway, in no particular order, here are some of the movie songs that I was thinking about.

• The End - Apocalypse Now
• Dance Magic Dance - Labrynth
• Neverending Story
• Banana Boat song - Beetlejuice
• Tequila - PeeWee's Big Adventure
• Don't You (Forget About Me) - The Breakfast Club
• Take My Breath Away - Top Gun
• It's the End of the World - Tommyboy (I loved when they were singing this song and just trailed off when it started getting fast)
• I Say a Little Prayer - My Best Friend's Wedding
• Ghostbusters
• Girl, You'll be a Woman Soon, Jungle Boogie and Misirlou - Pulp Fiction
• Stuck in the Middle with You - Reservior Dogs
• Lust for Life - Trainspotting
• Louie Louie and Shama Lama Ding Dong - Animal House
• Soul Man and Think - Blues Brothers
• Johnny B. Goode - Back to the Future

Hmmm... Well, that's about it for right now. I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Orlando - Part 1, The Portofino Bay Hotel
Since I took like a million pictures in Orlando, I am going to post them in four parts over the next few days. We visited Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. These first photos were taken at the Portofino Bay Hotel and Resort. These are all photos I took on the property and in our room.

It had been years since I visited the Yellow River Game Ranch...
until today. I tagged along with Becca, Jake and Ethan, and Amanda, David, Mikayla and Sophie. The kids were so cute looking at everything. It was VERY hot and humid though. I think it hit 95 degrees today. And tonight it has been storming off and on. Anyway, here are photos:

David may be a little large for this playground.

I call this one Smith family portrait with absurdly large and tacky creepy cat.

I do believe this pig has a bit of a weight problem.

Sophie kept trying to get this rabbit to eat and when he wouldn't, she just left a carrot for him to eat later.

  Gillam's graduation party
Of course, I didn't get a picture of Gillam, but here are a few of the ones I did get.
