  Good News
I heard from our doctor and she said that the reflux has improved from a level 4 to a level 2. This may mean antibiotics for another year, but it might also mean no surgery. We won't know for sure until the 17th, but this is good news.

  Too catchy!
I really don't mind children's music. It is kind of fun to listen to and sing along with. And I love to see Owen get excited about it. However, the after-effects of children's music can drive you crazy. Like last week, when I had the Thomas the Tank Engine theme stuck in my head for days. And right now, I keep humming the songs from the Sesame Street Silly Songs DVD that I've had playing in the van. I keep switching the songs in my head from, "The Honker-Duckie-Dinger Jamboree" to "Mary had a bicycle" and "Put Down the Duckie." Argh!

  Owen's Test
Well, it looks like Owen still has kidney reflux. And he did not like that test one bit! So, our next step is to drive all the way out to see the urologist and find out what he has to say. Anyway, here are some recent photos:

  Wednesday
Well, tomorrow we have Owen's follow up test about his kidneys. We had the test done a year ago and they determined that he had kidney reflux. We have been giving him a daily dose of antibiotics to prevent him from getting a kidney or urinary tract infection. Tomorrow we find out if he has grown out of it or not. So, cross your fingers!!!

My new love. (I know I'm a dork!)
We got our new washer and dryer yesterday. We ended up getting the Kenmore Elite HE5. I have been doing laundry ever since. And I am so impressed. The diapers were the biggest test and I was amazed at how clean they got. Using the old washer I had to do a cold rinse on the diapers first, a hot wash with detergent, another hot wash with detergent and an extra rinse to get out all the soap.

Anyway, to wash the diapers in the new washer, I put in two small squirts of the detergent into the drawer. Then, I can set it to go through a cycle that I customized that involves an autosoak for 30 minutes, a super high temp hot wash, an extra rinse cycle, and an extra spin. It takes forever, but I just have to push a button and let it go. So, here is a picture of the old washer/dryer and then a picture of the new ones.

  Notes
Note to self: pay more attention to Owen when carrying him in the sling and wearing a v-neck shirt.

Note to Owen: just because you like my breasts, it doesn't mean that everyone at Publix wants to see them.

I hate being sick. And I hate pollen.
Owen has been sick for a week now. Austin has been sick for almost a week. And I've only been sick since Thursday. Maybe at least the boys are nearing the end of their colds. And I don't think the pollen helps much. I think the count is up around 2,000 or so. Ugh. Achoo!
